Mr. Sergo stated in an interview with us - “I spent all my conscious life at this clinic, hence, National Center of Surgery is a second family. I first came here in August 1985 when I enrolled as a resident at general surgery and started to work in the women's unit. I always remember each staff member's attitude towards me with great fondness. This is one group that serves the most humane profession created by mankind. Nothing changed in my life, 18 years old Sergo would still choose to be a surgeon. Young people, my students might read the interview and I’d like to advise future doctors to be very responsible since they'll have to care for human life. Medicine requires hard work, loyalty. No offense to people with other professions but doctors are rewarded with the most invaluable gift and that is happy, thankful eyes of a healthy patient. I met my spouse at one of the events of National Center of Surgery. I have 3 children; I’ve never meddled in their professional choices, respected all their decisions and I’m proud of that. To be honest, I hoped that out of 3 children, one would choose to enroll in medical university, albeit medicine was never included in their plans. I love traveling. I think it’s one of the effective and pleasurable ways to stay healthy and have a healthy lifestyle. Traveling fills us with new impressions and experiences that are irreplaceable in our lives. I swim in my free time. Even a day spent by the seaside is enough to make me feel good for the whole year.
