Service for Ophthalmology at The National Center of Surgery
Patients 60 years of age and above who have any eye-related complaints are eligible for a free consultation with an ophthalmologist during the clinic's promotion, which includes all necessary manipulations (except the selection of glasses).
The most common eye diseases are:
- Glaucoma – a group of diseases caused by an increase in intraocular pressure;
- Cataract – degenerative process of the eye lens;
- Diabetic retinopathy – a chronic, progressive, potentially vision-loss-causing disease;
- Age-related macular degeneration – when a person has difficulty distinguishing details in the center of the visual field, reading and writing, and straight lines appear crooked.
The promotion includes the following ophthalmological studies:
- Ophthalmoscopy - examination of the fundus of the eye;
- Biomicroscopy – diagnosis of the fissured lumen;
- Visometry – determination of visual acuity;
- Tonometry – intraocular pressure measurement.
You should take advantage of the promotion if you have any complaints such as:
- Eye pain;
- Blurred or complete loss of vision;
- Decreased color vision;
- Black dots or lights in the field of vision;
- Swelling of the eyebrows and eyelids;
- Deterioration of vision at night;

- Double vision in one eye;

The National Center of Surgery's Ophthalmological Service manages the early detection, comprehensive treatment, and prevention of issues affecting the organ of vision.
