Why is healthy life important?
A healthy life that comprises balanced nutrition and physical activities is a token of health and longevity. It’s feasible to reduce the risk of some diseases with healthy nutrition and as for the exercises, it cleans the body from toxins, reduces the level of bad cholesterol and makes the body healthier. According to scientists, a person who actively exercises is healthy not only physically, but also spiritually.
Healthy life and National Center of Surgery
National Center of Surgery makes every effort to provide recommendations of highly qualified doctors regarding healthy and active lifestyle to as many people as possible free of charge. That’s why a special section was created on our clinic’s webpage – “Healthy Life” – the blog comprises useful advice of endocrinologists, cardiologists, traumatologists, toxicologists, neurologists and doctors of other fields.
It’s worth mentioning that traditionally, every year, athletic, energetic and joyful employees of National Center of Surgery and its’ clinic “New Life” go rafting in Aragvi gorge. This year our clinic’s team won “Aversi Cup” in rafting.
Employees of our clinic participate in the Business Champions League and often rejoice us with their success.
The basketball and football (so-called futsal) team called “Aversi” was created and it comprises employees of “Aversi” group’s member-organizations.

- Web and Social Media Graphic Designer Giorgi Tamarashvili.
The clinic’s athletes play in the gym twice a week. Both team members exercise at the fitness center “Aversi fitness” of the clinic “Aversi” to maintain muscle tone, improve proper breathing techniques and increase endurance.
Yesterday football and basketball team members were invited to the restaurant "Babilo Music Hall" for an award ceremony.
Paata Kurtanidze, founder of company “Aversi” and Lasha Bazadze director-general of National Center of Surgery awarded certificates to athletes for their special contribution to sports activities and wished them a successful season.
