Meet the Nurse of the Hematology Department at the National Center of Surgery

Name: Ekaterine

Surname: Jiqia

Position: Hematology Nurse

Education: Higher

I've been working at the National Center of Surgery since 2017, and I've gained a lot of experience in that period. It was here that I joined the professional team and met many wonderful people. I always wondered what I would be if I wasn't a nurse, and I guess that I'd be a mathematician because I love math so much. There have been many fascinating, exceptional clinical cases, and I am sure there will be many more in the future. Such clinical cases help each of us to develop professionally and acquire new skills. In my spare time, which is very little, I enjoy it with my children. Probably due to a lack of time, I have almost no hobbies and try to sleep whenever I can. I have thought sometimes if I could go back in time, I would not have chosen the medical profession, but the thankful eyes of a healing patient make me forget everything. I would advise young people, especially future nurses, to never stop self-development because they will undoubtedly succeed. Furthermore, medicine obliges us to keep up with current events.
