Within the collaboration with the organization "Career Planning Center," senior students in high school visited National Center of Surgery.
In the news, you will be informed about the following:
It’s worth mentioning that the clinic permanently hosts lectures about medicine that are attended by senior students interested in medicine who plan to connect their profession to the medical field.
For the development of professional orientation, Clinical Director of National Center of Surgery Nikoloz Chaduneli delivers lectures.
Today’s lecture was one of the largest ones and was attended by approximately 50 senior students in high school.
The clinic received a certificate
The meeting was peculiar also because the clinic was awarded a certificate for its participation in Global Employment and Career Development Forum – After the end of the lecture, the head of "Career Planning Center" Meri Tarielashvili gave an honorary award to the clinical director.
Mr. Nikoloz stated in an interview with us that the clinic supports youth and continues to care for their career development.
Clinical Director states – “This certificate is an achievement of each employ of National Center of Surgery, team united as one. The forum that the clinic participated in aims to develop human capital on the Georgian labor market, increase the number of qualified and motivated specialists, support internship programs and employment. Our clinic shares its knowledge and experience with young people and does it with pleasure. Our clinic employed numerous students, subsequently, allowed future doctors and nurses to work at the clinic and obtain practical experience. One of the primary aims of National Center of Surgery is to give future generations interested in medicine an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and, most importantly, establish themselves in this sphere”.
Lecture for senior students in high school
Mr. Nikoloz in his lecture told senior students the history of medicine from Kolkhi Medea to nowadays. Guests listened to how patients were treated centuries ago and how the healthcare system progresses today, what kind of challenges modern medicine faces, etc.
During his meeting with senior students, Mr. Nikoloz stated – “We can compare relations with medicine with love story. Every doctor marries medicine and spends his/her whole life with it –You create a family with the medical field on the basis of Hippocratic Oath. You always have to love it, care for it and never betray. In my opinion, a good doctor should meet the following criteria: receive well-grounded education, care for your health, have interest in technological innovation, learn foreign languages, love and respect patients, strive for constant improvement and expansion of knowledge.”
After the end of the lecture, senior students were introduced to the history of National Center of Surgery, clinic's ultramodern medical equipment, and advanced services, including the Stroke Center and Radiotherapy Department.
We’d like to remind readers that National Center of Surgery received the honorary award for its’ contribution (in the field of professional orientation) to the development of future generation.
Wish you health!
