Meet the nurse on duty at the Multidisciplinary Department of the National Center of Surgery

Name: Nana

Surname: Ratiani

Position: Nurse on duty at the Multidisciplinary Department

Education: Secondary Special

Hobby: Reading Books

I joined the National Center of Surgery in 2014 and have been a vital part of our clinic for the past seven years. First and foremost, working here provided me with information and experience, I learned how to operate in a force majeure situation, and, most importantly, I gained trust in myself and my abilities. If I wasn't a nurse, I'd probably be a lawyer because it's my passion to support people. In terms of the day-to-day details of my work, I have had several special clinical cases, but it would be tough to select some of them because each patient is unique, and, consequently, each working day is filled with new discoveries. In general, I spend my spare time with family and friends. I enjoy cooking, reading, and listening to music. If I could go back in time, I would follow in my father's footsteps. He was a well-known doctor in Svaneti, but I am grateful to be a nurse, and my life is an integral part of medicine. I will encourage the next generation to work hard and not waste any time in order to achieve their goals. Most importantly, they must enjoy their jobs, because, without them, no one will succeed in medicine.
