Constipation is a widespread problem.

Several useful advices to protect yourselves from constipation:
- Consume food enriched with vegetable fiber. Fruits and vegetables are rich in fiber. It is recommended to eat the following fruits and vegetables: apple, banana, plum, dried plum, kiwi, orange, cabbage, carrot, beet, green salad leaves, broccoli. It should be noted that the pumpkin has a particularly good effect on constipation. According to the American Association of Dietologists’ recommendation, adult should intake 20-35 grams of fiber on daily basis , and those with constipation problems - at least 30 grams;
- Include vegetable soup in your nutrition.
- Consume liquids for intestines to function normally. For an adult - at least 6 cups of liquid is recommended.
- Consume lapactic medication only in special cases. Be cautious of lapactic medication.
- Physical activities and exercise are necessary.
- You may perform abdominal self-massage in a clockwise direction.
