International Day for the Protection of the Rights of People with Disabilities

„We do not recognize limitations, we choose equal opportunities!"

On December 3, 1992, the United Nations established International Day for the Rights of People with Disabilities, which is celebrated annually around the world.

The purpose of this day is to focus on the centuries-old discrimination and neglect that people with disabilities experience. It is because of this stigma that people with disabilities have to overcome great obstacles daily, and some are locked in a closed space and do not perceive themselves as part of society.

Despite great efforts around the world, people with disabilities still face problems with mobility, education, employment, access to resources, or other types of problems.

Today, as never before, against the background of COVID-19, we need to understand the importance of awareness and solidarity of each member of society towards people with disabilities.

The National Center of Surgery joins the International Day for the Protection of the Rights of People with Disabilities. Providing an inclusive environment is one of the important priorities of our clinic.

We are gradually trying to provide discounted services for people with disabilities. It is for this purpose that the National Center of Surgery offers people with disabilities a promotion for high-tech research and various services (for a full list, go to the link).

Remember, disability is not an internal characteristic of a person.

There are no limitations!

Wish you health!
