What is Radiation Therapy?
Mechanism of Radiation Therapy as a treatment method based on killing cancer cells. This is a main method of treatment in Oncology. Almost 50% of this patients need Radiation therapy.
Radiotherapy treatment can be curative or palliative (for decrease pain, to stop bleeding), preoperatively or postoperative.
Radiotherapy Department is equipped with US company Varian’s Modern and maximally sophisticated, clinically equivalent (twin) linear accelerators-Truebeam and Vitalbeam, which guarantees uninterrupted treatments for patients.
Patients are treated with joint cooperation between our clinic’s radiotherapy department and abroad working successful Georgian experts in this field.
