Prostate Cancer Screening at the National Center of Surgery

Prostate cancer rates are rising worldwide, indicating that screening for middle-aged men (aged 40-50) is critical! In 2018, for example, more than a million men (1,276,106) were diagnosed with prostate cancer worldwide, 358,989 of the cases reported in the same year were fatal.

As of today, scientists estimate that one out of every eight men will develop prostate cancer. The average age of symptom onset is 65 years. Prostate cancer comes third, behind breast and lung cancer, according to the 2020 figure. Prostate cancer was identified in 1,414,259 oncological cases worldwide (7.3 percent ), 375,304 of these patients died.

At the moment, there is complete consensus in medicine that quick detection of a disease is a requirement for good care and defeat. Simultaneously, we want to modify the above-mentioned rising figures, and we urge all middle-aged men to be examined for prostate cancer! In this regard, The National Center of Surgery provides free antigen-specific (PSA) testing to men between the ages of 50 and 70!
