Summer is quite a convenient period for intoxication and infectious diseases.

As a rule, during vacation people tend to prefer prepared products and visit fast-food chains to save time.

If you don't want for the food intoxication or gastrointestinal infections to ruin the long-awaited vacation, pay close attention to what you consume, eat or drink.

It’s recommended to keep in mind the following:

  • Frequently wash your hands with soap and running water;
  • Eat a large amount of well-washed fruits, vegetables, thermally processed meat products;
  • Avoid eating food prepared in an open space and fast-food restaurants. Especially meat products, fatty, smoked, semi-smoked and canned foods;
  • Limit cakes and creamy pastries in your nutrition since they are perishable products;
  • Before buying milk or dairy products, pay close attention to the expiration date and storage conditions;
  • Frequently drink water;
  • Keep in mind that in the summer season, the chances of alcohol intoxication is very high.
